About the Course
The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a critical tool for evaluating the environmental impacts of products, processes, or services throughout their life cycle. This training session offers a comprehensive overview of the principles and methodology outlined in ISO 14044 and ISO 14040.
Training shall broadly cover:
- An overview of both ISO 14044 and ISO 14040 standards.
- Key updates and changes in these standards, clarification of important terms, and highlighting essential topics.
- Detailed explanation of the LCA methodology, including goal and scope definition, inventory analysis, impact assessment, and interpretation.
- Practical examples and case studies to illustrate the application of LCA in various industries.
Prerequisites:
There are no formal prerequisites for attending the training on 'Life Cycle Assessment Principles and Methodology.' However, it is preferred if the participant has a basic understanding of environmental management systems.
