About the Program:
 7QC tools are foundation to Business/ Quality improvement . One may use the concept like Problem Solving; Juran’s tribology – Planning - Improvement -Control; Yellow Belt of Six Sigma -DMAIC( Define-Measure-Analyse-Improve-Control). These concepts can be effectively put to use by applying these 7QC tools.
Managing Quality ,involves following these three steps:

  •  Planning
  •  Improvement
  •  Control

the steps adopted engage a team from different perspectives like engineering, production/servicing , maintenance, field service functional members to plan for producing quality product / providing quality service, sustaining the same with check points defined and also controlled using standards.

Program Objective :

1.       To understand the three steps of Quality Management and understanding 7 QC tools to work on these three steps.7 QC tools are basic tools which are used to bring ideas & data together identified by individuals with different perspective.

2.       To use these tools to identify customer/business /employee/ strategic needs to establish a link of these outcomes to process steps. Outcomes are commonly known as CTQ ( critical to Quality  objectives) & linked to CTP (critical to process Parameters) by using BRAINSTORMING to identify opportunity areas to be improved and controlled upon. 

 Course Duration :  6 hours from 10:00 hrs. to 16:00 hrs.

10:00 hrs. - 11:40 hrs. 

  • Introduction Of the topic by the Faculty
  • Participants to share their perspective on Various approaches on continual improvement for success of an organization, stakeholders including customer, employees, management, partners.
  • Sharing of Juran Trilogy, Problem Solving, Kaizen & DMAIC as concepts for Continual Improvement
  • Brainstorming as an enabler for  going beyond obvious and idea generation
  • Application of brainstorming for opportunity area identification
  • To Understand Cause & Effect
  • Application of C&E by participants to identify causes

11:40 hrs – 12:00 hrs

12:00 hrs – 13:30 hrs

  • To Understand Discrete & Continuous Data
  • To Understand Check Sheet to  collect data
  • Application of at least one type of check sheet  to collect data by participants
  • To Understand & use pareto chart for problem/ cause prioritization
  • To Understand & use graphs, Scatter plots, histogram

13:30 hrs – 14:10 hrs

Lunch Break (40 Min)

14:10 hrs – 15:10 hrs

  • To Understand & use control charts for generating information from data & decision making

15:10 hrs – 15:30 hrs

Tea Break (20 Min)

15:30 hrs – 16:00 hrs

  • To Understand Continual Improvement QC story
  • Each Participating group  / Indi dual to prepare & share QC story

Note- TEA & LUNCH BREAK TIME WILL BE USED FOR ASSIGNED JOB BESIDE ENJOYING TEA & LNCH

Pre -Requisite : 

  1. Individual Participants/groups are encouraged  to come  prepared with their respective problem statements with their corresponding data
  2. Should have a stable internet connection for attending the program

  • Certified ISO 9000 2015 Lead Assessor,TL9000 lead Assessor, ISO 27001 Auditor and CII Exim Award Assessor.
